I have personally enjoyed this boat for the last two years and although this 1994 Crownline 225 BR was in very good shape to begin with, I decided to freshen it up before I sold it so it will be ready to provide some lucky bidder with many years of hassle free boating FUN!

First of all, if you are not familiar with the Crownline 225, it is an incredible design that not only has a lot of room, but it handles great - even at high speeds.  You don't have to ever worry about getting left behind with this baby - The Mercruiser 454 big block engine and the Bravo 1 outdrive in this boat combine to provide an incredible power package that very quickly pushes the boat to just under 60 mph - GPS verified!   The engine is not only very clean, but it has great compression, starts easily, idles good, and sounds awesome with the Corsa Silent Choice Exhaust!  The outdrive also looks great and performs flawlessly.

The fiberglass is all in very good condition with very few nicks or scrapes.  I tried to show these in the photos above.  There is a Keel Guard to protect the hull when beaching the boat.

The 1200 watt Sony stereo system with 2 Sony Amps, TEN Alpine Type R and Kicker Speakers including two 10" subwoofers, really sounds great and is powered by a separate battery that is tied to the engine charging system through a battery switch so you can charge it off of the engine alternator if desired.

Most of the carpeting and vinyl was just replaced so the interior looks great and is very comfortable.  After reassembling the interior, I did notice two very small rips in one side panel that didn't get redone, but they are not very noticeable.

The boat includes a complete canvas package including a bimini top with zip in windows, camper top, Snap on travel covers, fitted storage cover and filler cushions for the front bow area.

The tandem axle Prestige trailer is in very good shape with nice rust-free gold chrome wheels, hydraulic surge brakes and 1 year old tires.

The boat can be inspected at 2519 South Grand Ave. East in Springfield, IL during normal business hours.

  Both the boat and the trailer have clean Illinois titles and are ready to provide some lucky bidder with many years of very comfortable, reliable boating!  We do a lot of travel around the Midwest dealing in boats so we might be able to help with delivery if needed.

  • a $500 Deposit is required via Paypal or Bank Transfer within 48 hours of the auction close.
